The Brachetto d'Acqui di Gancia was born in the vineyards of the Piedmont company, located in the homonymous DOCG. This sweet wine is produced with only Brachetto grapes, selected and subjected to gentle pressing. After a light maceration on the skins in order to achieve the desired color, the must is fermented partially up to an alcohol content of 5.5 alcoholic degrees, to then be stored at -2 ° C before the second fermentation. The sparkling wine follows the Charmat or Martinotti method. Brachetto di Gancia is characterized by a ruby red color, with a fine and persistent perlage. The nose carries typical aromas, with notes of rose, ripe fruit and small red fruits that dominate the scene. In the mouth it proves a sweet wine of very easy drinking, with a lively aftertaste, thanks to an excellent acidic streak. Perfect to accompany desserts, it is ideal as a sweet aperitif or in combination with risotto with radicchio or vegetables.
